2019

A Turning Point

Bob was Bethan’s dad. Sadly, he passed away in 2019, which became the catalyst for Bethan to make some changes in her life and begin a new creative path.

2021

A New Chapter

Around the same time, Sara was also ready for something different after many years working as a primary school teacher in Chagford.

In July 2021, Bethan and Sara both began working at The Dartmoor Shepherd, while continuing with their own creative businesses.

Bethan ran Bob’s Boutique, and Sara ran ReWorked.

Friendship & Creativity

Working Together

Over the next few years they worked alongside each other and gradually became very close friends, discovering a shared love of making, creativity and working with textiles.

2024 - The Shop

Bob’s ReWorked Boutique

When the opportunity to rent the shop became available, it felt like the perfect moment to take a leap and create something together.

Combining the names of their two businesses felt like the natural choice — and so Bob’s ReWorked Boutique was born.

2026 - Getting Online

Today the shop is a place where garments are altered, fabrics are reimagined and creativity continues to grow in the heart of our village community. Setting up a website and an online shop to reach further audiences.
